About the Beth Chesed Orphanage and Family Center in Haiti...
For the past 2 years, Congregation Mishkahn David has been blessed to operate an orphanage in the town of Cap Haitien on the northern border of Haiti. This orphanage cared for roughly 40 orphans... until the earthquake on January 12, 2010. In the aftermath of the earthquake, displaced Haitians have migrated out of Port Au Prince towards the region of our orphanage. Within a few days of the earthquake, the number of families that found a home at Beth Chesed tripled.

Since the earthquake, teams from Congregation Mishkahn David have traveled to Haiti multiple times. It is truly amazing how much has been already accomplished with our small teams with small funds. Much food has been delivered, a well has been dug and installed, electricity has been setup. Plus literally tens of thousands of Haitians have been glorifying the G-d of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, and renouncing voodoo. This story is continuing to unfold every day. See our blog below to read the incredible accounts directly from Haiti.

If Adonai (the LORD) leads you to donate to Beth Chesed, or to sponsor a child for $30/month, know for sure that 100% of what you donate will go to the orphanage, and to the child you are sponsoring.
